What you can make from one coffee or tea photo

Six kinds of shot from the same product photo. The kitchen scene above and the cup shot below were made on Caspa AI.

White-background packshot

The bag, tin or box alone on white with the front label readable, for marketplace main images.

Kitchen and café scenes

Your bag beside a grinder and a pour-over, a tea tin on a breakfast table, a pod box by the machine.

Cup in hand

A model holding a mug or a takeaway cup with your pack in the frame, for social posts and ads.

Flat lays and ranges

Beans, a scoop and the bag from above, or every blend in one lineup. Caspa can place several products in one photo.

Origin and brew infographics

Origin, roast level, tasting notes and brew ratio as callouts, for secondary images and A+ content.

Short product video

Turn a photo of your pack into a short clip for product pages, ads and social, on the Growth and Scale plans.

Cup in hand

Made on Caspa AI. For a coffee or tea listing, generate the same kind of scene with your bag or tin on the table, so the drink and the pack appear together.

How it works

From one photo of your pack to a full listing in three steps.

Upload one product photo

Photograph the bag, tin or box with the front label facing you, and smooth out crinkled bags first. Caspa keeps the label and packaging as they are.

Pick a scene or describe one

Choose white or a template, or type it: “kraft coffee bag beside a burr grinder and a pour-over, morning light”.

Download or make a video

Download images for your listings, upscaled to 4K if you need it, or turn one into a product video on Growth or Scale.

Coffee and tea photography shot list

What shoppers want to see before they order a bag or a tin.

The pack
  • Front label: roast, origin, weight
  • Back panel with ingredients and brewing guide
  • Valve, zip or tin lid, open and closed
  • Every size and blend shot the same way
What’s inside
  • Whole beans or ground, up close
  • Loose leaf, matcha or the tea bag itself
  • Brewed in the cup: crema, color, foam
  • Shoot these for real: they are the product
In use
  • Next to the grinder, kettle or machine it suits
  • A cup in hand for scale and mood
  • Morning, café and gifting scenes for ads
  • Origin and tasting notes on an infographic

Shoot yourself: the beans or leaves, the brewed cup and the back panel. They are the product, so they should be real.

Make with Caspa: the white-background packshot, kitchen and café scenes, cup-in-hand shots and range lineups, starting from those photos.

Marketplace rules for coffee and tea images

Main-image rules as of October 2026. Marketplaces update them, so check before you list.

Amazon. The main image is the pack alone on pure white (RGB 255, 255, 255), filling at least 85% of the frame, with no extra props. Amazon recommends at least six images, which leaves room for the beans, the brewed cup and a kitchen scene. Amazon image rules

Etsy. Every listing needs at least one unedited photo of the actual product against a real background. On the other photos Etsy allows AI edits such as new backgrounds, as long as the item still looks like what the buyer receives. Etsy recommends 2,000 pixels or more on each side. Etsy photo rules

Shopify. Shopify sets no background rule. Square images at 2048 x 2048 pixels usually display best, and one aspect ratio for every main image keeps collection pages even. Shopify image sizes
